En meget sjælden og usædvanlig bog..."Mother Goose" med vidunderlige farver og sort/hvide illustrationer af Jessie Wilcox Smith!!! Rødt stof med sorte titler og farvevignetter på forside og ryg, farvebillede på forside. 12 farveplader monteret på almindeligt billedtekstpapir. S/h tekstillustrationer overalt. Udvendigt originalt klæde i generelt god stand med lette pletter. Indvendige farveillustrationer vippet ind i meget god stand, et par af disse farvesider har slid på marginer. Indvendigt for det meste rene, meget lette pletter, enkelte sider repareret i margen med blank tape. Bageste frie endepapir og de sidste 10 sider har på nederste margen gammelt vandskilt - se sidste fotos, indbindingen er lidt rystende, men alle sider er vedhæftet. Et af de få komplette eksemplarer, der sælges over hele verden!!!! Sjældenhed.

Jessie Wilcox Smith Mother Goose Vintage Book

This is a rare and unusual vintage copy of "Mother Goose" illustrated by Jessie Wilcox Smith. The book features beautiful colour and black & white illustrations. It has a red cloth cover with black lettering and colour vignettes on the front and spine, along with a colour illustration on the front cover. The book includes 12 colour plates mounted on plain text paper and black and white text illustrations throughout. The original cloth cover is in good condition with minor blemishes. The interior colour illustrations are in very good condition, with a few of the pages having minor wear on the margins. The inside is mostly clean, with very light spotting and some pages repaired in the margins with clear tape. The back free endpaper and the last 10 pages have watermarks on the bottom margin (see last photos). The binding is slightly shaken, but all pages are attached. It's a rare, complete copy, with many other copies missing pieces. A collector's item.
