Originalt forlag i lyse rødt stof med bogstaver og dekoreret med forgyldte, billedlige endeblade. Udvendigt meget god, let brugsspor rundt om kanter og hjørner, ryg let solbelyst. Indvendig fin ren stand, alle plader til stede, nogle talende vævsbeskyttere ikke til stede. Ualmindelig. Sjældenhed.

Hawthorne's Wonder Book Illustrated Arthur Rackham

This is a very rare and beautiful work of art, adorned with the wonderful Arthur Rackham illustrations. A rare 1922 edition of 'A Wonder Book by Nathaniel Hawthorne'. This volume features 16 colour plates, 9 full-page illustrations, decorated endpapers and all by Arthur Rackham. The original binding is in a bright red cloth with gold lettering and decorated with gilt, illustrated endpapers. The exterior is in very good condition, with light wear around the edges and corners, the spine slightly sunned. The interior is in fine clean condition, all plates are present, a few of the tissue guards are missing. This is a rare book.
