Obernetter blev udgivet af Hugo Schmidt München i 1922 som et oplag på 500 eksemplarer i dybtryk af fremragende kvalitet. (ingen heliografi). Ark #69 stammer fra nummereret graveringseksemplar nr. 117 (se foto). Ark #69: Med barnet brugt som bælge, indikerer Goya den skrupelløse udnyttelse af børn fra den laveste samfundsklasse, som var almindelig på det tidspunkt. Hans foreløbige tegning havde titlen "Heksens drøm".

Francisco Goya Caprichos Print #69 Sopla

This is an etching, aquatint and drypoint print by Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes, part of his 'Caprichos' series. This print, numbered 69, is titled 'Sopla' (Blows) which refers to the depiction of a child being used as a bellows, signifying the cruelty of how the poorest children were exploited in Goya's time. The printing plate was made in 1922 by J.B. Obernetter of the München Kunstanstalt in a limited edition of 500. This is an excellent quality deep etch, not a heliograph. This artwork has the original artist's signature and the stamp of the printing atelier, Obernetter. An embossed, plate-marked image within a sheet size of 300mm x 200mm with an image size of 173mm x 117mm. This example is part of a numbered printing and the original was numbered 117. The original artist's sketch and print is a dark and visceral critique of society. This print would be ideal for a serious collector of works by the great Spanish master Francisco Goya.
