2 stk. sølvbelagte Scotch Whiskey bægre - Dronning Anne af Danmark
Very impressive items that will add a lot of character to any bar or cabinet and look fantastic on display.
These two silver-plated scotch whiskey goblets are made in attribute to queen Anne of Denmark. She was the second daughter of King Frederick II of Denmark and married King James VI when she was 14 (20 August 1589) and from that moment became the queen of Scotland.
On the cup, there is the coat of arms of Scotland and on the base, "Queen Anne, Scotch Whiskey"
Hallmarked with two towers and a "P"
"two towers" mark was Denmark's state control mark for silver plate introduced (I think) around the same time as the "three tower" mark was mandated for all of Denmark - 1893 - and, as far as I know, is still in use. The "P" stands for "Plet-Sølv", the Danish for "silverplate"
It's hard to say in which year they were made, but they definitely have some age to them.
Height: 10.5 cm
Diameter: 5 cm
