plakat, Trine Søndergaard, motiv: Guldnakke 1, b: 59,4 h: 84,1 Guldnakke #1 Trine søndergaard year: 2024 format: A1 – 59,4 x 84,1 cm The Guldnakke #1 poster features one of the images from Trine Søndergaard’s “Guldnakke” series. The Guldnakke bonnets are from the mid 1800s and were popular among the wives of Denmark’s wealthy farmers. The bonnets were a status symbol. Gold textiles had previously been reserved for royalty, the nobility and the church. Highly specialized needlewomen made the bonnets, and these experts are early examples of self-employed women who were often able to provide for their families.? The young women posing in the photographs have chosen their own clothing, uniting the past with the present. Photos from the Guldnakke series are represented in several public collections e.g The National Collection of Photography in The Royal Danish Library, Museum on the Seam, Jerusalem and New Carlsberg Foundation. The Guldnakke #1 poster by Trine Søndergaard measures 59,4 x 84,1 cm and is printed on high quality 250 g/m2 Galerie Art Silk paper. Signed by the artist.
