Call of Duty: World at War is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS in November 2008. The game is set during World War II and follows the stories of two soldiers: Sergeant Polonsky, a member of the Soviet Red Army fighting in the Eastern Front, and Private Miller, a member of the 1st Marine Division fighting in the Pacific Theatre. It is the sixth mainline instalment in the Call of Duty series, and a continuation of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
