Farpoint is a 2017 first-person shooter video game developed by SIE San Mateo Studio and Impulse Gear and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe for the PlayStation 4. The game is set on a hostile alien planet, and players must use a variety of weapons to survive against the dangers of the environment and the creatures that inhabit it. The game is played using the PlayStation VR virtual reality headset. The game requires the player to use a PlayStation VR Aim Controller. It includes an optional expansion, 'The Aftermath' allowing the player to continue their adventure.
