Original woodblock print/Originalt japansk træsnit, Malaya Watabe (*1931), motiv: Gotateyama, b: 16 cm h: 14 cm Original japanese woodblock print (Ukiyo-e). Beautiful contemporary design, made in 2015 by Masaya Watabe (*1931). This bold print showing high mountains with snowy tops and in the foreground a hilly landscape with trees in autumn colours. The artists carved the blocks themselves, which the famous Watanabe publisher of Tokyo then printed on hand-made Torinoko paper. Great for display, either singly or in groups (see my other entries). Print in very good condition, no issues to report. 16 cm x 14 cm + margins as shown.
