Alessio Tasca Decorative Plates, 4 Seasons Italy, 1950s. Wonderful and playful early work of artist Alessio Tasca from Italy. Famous for his plastic and very distinct sculptures and pottery works, these plates are some of his earlier works showing the beginnings of his more avant-garde works in the way he uses relief and material. For example, look at the way the light hits these plates and creates all these little shadows the lines and textures cast on this piece.
