First edition of the second novel in parody of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. Like its predecessor, this work critiques the British government's approach to the Second Boer War and Prime Minister Arthur Balfour's early administrations. Written by Edward Harold Begbie, J. Stafford Ransome, and Michael Henry Temple, all of whom were English journalists and authors. Illustrated by J. Stafford Ransome, credited as S.R. A very good copy, in the original green illustrated boards, inscription to ffep, all illustrations present.
