Rare Vintage "Zell Bros" Turtle / Doxa Wristwatch

A very special Turtle (Doxa) imported to the US by Zell Bros, a famous jeweler/watch manufacturer, in an all stainless steel 29.5 x 36mm case (without crown/lug-to-lug) and 15.5mm between the lugs. The lume on hands and numerals is in excellent condition, however the writing on the dial has faded a decent amount.
The most unique aspect of this watch is the "Doxa" ghost-stamp on the dial that can only be seen at certain angles and lighting. My personal guess is that Zell Bros sterilized the imported Doxa dial and rebranded for the US market, however the Doxa stamp left an imprint on the dial. Very cool double "ghost" signature. "Zell Bros" can be lightly seen on the bottom of the dial. Also some fading on the top-right side of the dial above 1 and 2 o'clock. Some light scratches and marks, see photos.
The automatic movement runs and is in good condition for it's age, but timing has not been tested. Note that the leather strap is not included and just for show (it is not in good condition).
