Byzantine Empire Lot of 3 Coins & Weight

This lot includes three ancient Byzantine coins and a bronze weight, all in good condition. The first coin is a follis of Constantine X Ducas and Eudocia, minted in Constantinople between AD 1059-1067. The coin is 27.7 mm in diameter and weighs 8.75 grams. The obverse features an image of Christ standing with his face on a footstool, wearing a nimbus and holding the Gospels. The inscription reads +EMMANOVHΛ, with IC XC across the field. The reverse depicts Eudocia on the left, wearing a loros with a dragon-shaped underpanel and a crown with a cross and pendilia. Constantine is on the right, also wearing a loros and a crown with a cross and pendilia. Both are standing facing each other, holding a labarum with a cross piece on its shaft between them. They are standing on a base with three steps, each placing a hand on their heart. The inscription reads +KWN T ΔK +EVΔK AVΓO. The second coin is a Decanummium of Maurice Tiberius, minted in Constantinople during his reign (582-602 AD). The coin is 18.3 mm in diameter and weighs 2.80 grams. The obverse displays a crowned, draped, and bust-length portrait. The reverse depicts CON, with a large I between a star and officina B, and a cross above. The third coin is an AE Follis of Justinian I, minted in Constantinople between 527-565 AD. The coin is 33.02 mm in diameter and weighs 20.35 grams. The coin is struck in 547/548 AD. The obverse depicts D N IVSTINIANUS PP AVG, featuring a cuirassed and helmet-clad bust. The reverse shows a large M, with A/N/N/O to the left down to right, representing year XXI (year 21) of his reign. An officina letter Γ is above a cross and in the exergue mint signature CON. These coins are a great addition to any ancient coin collection. This lot also includes a bronze weight that weighs 8.65 grams and measures 19 x 18 mm. It has a great patina, just like the coins. Each coin is accompanied by a photographic certificate of authenticity.
