Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is a third-person shooter video game developed by Capcom. It was released for the Xbox 360 in February 2007 and later for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable. Set on the fictional, icy planet E.D.N III (a “frozen hellscape”), the game features fast-paced action sequences, a sci-fi setting, and a rich storyline. Players assume the role of Wayne, a member of the NEVEC (New Extreme Earth & Venus Exploration Corps), and must fight against the Akrid, monstrous creatures that inhabit the planet and pose a threat to humanity's survival.
