This J. Hinton Lake Exeter The Isca wooden plate camera is a fantastic display piece dating back to the late 1800s, circa 1890-1900. This camera features a Beck Symetrical f 8-45 brass lens that is clear and in excellent condition. The camera has a plate size of approximately 12x16.6 cm, or 1/2 plate 4 3/4 x 6 1/2 inches. The back is fully adjustable in both the vertical and horizontal positions. The bellows are good with slight tidewater, but no guarantee that they are if not, and have a double extension. The ground glass is intact. The wooden and brass fittings are in good condition with a beautiful patina. All in all, this camera makes an excellent display piece. It is a wooden plate camera, not a film camera. Please note that this is a vintage and antique camera, so expect signs of use. Measurements when folded down: 20x20cm. Camera weight: 1.6 kg.
