Lladro figurin Terrierhund (#4643) ~ Vintage ~ 1970

This beautiful porcelain sculpture was sculpted by Salvador Furió and introduced by Lladro in 1970. The piece, known as 'Skye Terrier' (#4643), has been modeled with a great deal of realistic detail and depicts an alert seated white and gray dog posed in a play bow, ready to bound into action. The dog's ears are perked up above its head, which is tilted slightly to the right. The terrier is shown wearing an ecru ribbon tied about its neck with a bow at the back. The dog's characteristically thick coat is particularly well defined and falls in feathers from its body, helping to make this lovely figurine a standout.
