Features a genuine farmed crocodile band, satin lining and eyelet vents. The Coolabah Hat This hat is so Australian, it’s even mentioned in “Waltzing Matilda”. An easy to wear style, the Coolabah is a real head turner – with its signature saltwater corocdile hat band, each one is unique. The Coolabah has a 79mm brim, with a cut edge. The inner is satin lined, with a supple leather sweatband, embossed in gold with the Akubra name. As with all Akubra hats, the Coolabah is hand-crafted in Australia and takes six weeks to make, using traditional, old-school processes which have changed little in 140 years. Made from 100% rabbit felt fur, all Akubra hats are water resistant and offer the ultimate in sun protection.
