This substantial volume containing 53 printed designs (106 pages) was published by the renowned Uchida Bijutsu publishing house in 1934. This Shinsen Goshodoki Ohi Nagata (New Selection of "Goshodoki" Kimono Patterns), is a rare and exquisite Japanese book, showcasing a vast array of intricate and beautiful kimono patterns. The designs are printed with impressive skill and meticulous attention to detail. This book is in very good condition, with some age-related markings including foxing, light yellowing, and a few minor imperfections visible in the images.This book features fantastic bokashi (gradient) and printing techniques that illustrate the high craftsmanship of these patterns.This is the first edition from 1934, a second edition was printed in 1939.
