Otto Christensen ( 1898-1982) Autographed portrait of Russian composer Igor Stravinsky. Dimensions: 10 x 14 inches. 26 x 37 cm. 17 x 22 inches inclusive the frame. Description: pencil on paper. Mounted on white cardboard. Signed and dated 1934 by the artist, to the lower right. Inscribed, autographed and dated by Igor Stravinsky to the lower left. Portrayal of famous Russian composer Igor Stravinsky performing with the with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra in march 1934 in Copenhagen. The Danish Newspaper, Dagens nyheder, reported that Igor Stravinsky that evening was the soloist in his own Capriccio for Piano and Orchestra and was conducted by fellow Russian, Nicolai Malko.
