Freestyle skier Pekka Hyysalo (born 1990) dominated the big air, halfpipe and slopestyle disciplines and reached 11th place in the international big air rankings at the end of the 2009-2010 season. In April 2010, he was involved in a serious ski accident in Yllas, which resulted in a severe concussion and a coma for over three weeks. Despite the odds, Pekka started walking again after six months. In this book, he tells his incredible journey back from an accident and his ongoing fight to recover. Pekka Hyysalo is also known for founding FightBack. He was voted Finland’s most positive person of the year and Citizen of the Year of Turku in 2014.
