Burchard Theodoor Paets (1872-1938) - Sailboats on the shore
Impressionistisk maleri med sejlbåde på kysten blev udført af den fredede hollandske landskabsmaler Burchard Theodoor Paets (1870 - Woerden/Sydholland - 1938). Først som officer, siden 1907 maler, elev af C.Kuypers. Litteratur: Thieme/Becker "Leksikon over kunstnere fra antik til nutid", Leipzig, 1999; AKL-indeks (af K. G. Saur). Indskrift: signeret nederst til højre. Teknik: olie på lærred, original tidsramme. Mål: uindrammet b 19" x 13 3/4" (48,5 x 35 cm), indrammet b 29 1/8" x h 23 7/8" (74 x 60,5 cm). Stand: i meget god stand.
