This is a genuine DDR postage stamp from 1955, showing a portrait of Wilhelm Pieck, President of East Germany, between images of Prague Castle and the Brandenburg Gate. The stamp is a 'Freundschaft' (Friendship) stamp featuring a 24pf denomination. It is marked with a 'DDR' stamp and is in very good condition with a hinge mark visible. The stamp is a valuable addition to any collection of East German stamps.
