Valente Mahumana Mankew - Untitled
Valente Mahumana MANKEW blev født i Mozambique i 1934. Han er fætter og ven af Malangatana og er en af de mest anerkendte malere i Mozambique og Afrika. En berømt figur i Maputo Art Center, Mankew var fra generationen af kunstnere og nationalister som Malangatana, Oblino Mabjaia, Chissano, Shikani eller Lindo Hlongo. Han døde i 2021 og er en uundgåelig reference i afrikansk maleri.
