Mundays kunst er blevet udstillet i nogle af Englands mest berygtede gallerier, herunder The Royal Academy of Arts, The Arnolfini og The Hayward Gallery. Den detaljerede illustration i hans signaturstil solgte over 30.000 eksemplarer verden over. Inspired by watching people and everyday life, Kev exaggerates and celebrates the ordinary, aiming for his art to appeal to people of all ages. In the tradition of artists like Hieronymus Bosch, Munday's paintings can be read as a wimmelbilderbuch (German, literally 'wriggling picture book'), depicting scenes richly detailed with people, animals, creatures and objects waiting to be discovered and interpreted by the viewer. Using bold lines and block colours, the vibrancy of Munday's style creates an immersive visual experience. His iconic crowd paintings depict a sea of unique individuals celebrating the beauty of diversity. Each single portrait is valued equally, collectively, the effect is a striking vision of community, which is more than the sum of its individual parts. Having started his artistic career at the age of 16, Kev's earliest creative endeavors came in the form of street art: painting walls and leaving stickers, tags and other markings on street furniture. It wasn’t until a few years later that a fellow artist suggested that he should transfer his artwork onto canvas and he found an immediate attraction to the surface. Taking from the style he’d developed in his street-art work, Kev continued to work with spray paint and markers, utilising the vibrant colours and bold lines which are still present in his work to this day. Munday's art has been exhibited in some of England's most renowned galleries, including The Royal Academy of Arts, The Arnolfini and The Hayward Gallery. He is regularly invited to produce artwork live at art fairs and events; past performances include The Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam, Fresh Art Fair Ascot and London Fashion Week. Kev's art is collected worldwide, with exhibitions having taken place in France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany over the past few years. In 2019, Kev Munday collaborated with IKEA to release a colouring poster. The detailed illustration in his signature style sold over 30,000 copies worldwide.
