Antique G.B. Mignone wood wet plate camera

Trækamera af typen "campagnola" G.B.Mignone, Italien, model fra slutningen af det nittende århundrede, begyndelsen af det tyvende århundrede, type Mackenstein eller Pettazzi. Fremstillet af fint træ, metaldele i messing, robust bælge (udskiftet på grund af originalens alder), træchassis med glasplade til fokusering. Objektivet er originalt fra perioden, netop en Rapid Rectilinear Elliot London med indbygget blænde og en anden linse fra Zeiss Jena med metalblænder, der skal indsættes i den passende spalte på objektivet. Disse kameraer havde ikke en lukker, tidseksponeringen blev opnået blot med en hætte, der skulle fjernes og udskiftes foran objektivet.

An antique wet plate camera of the "campagnola" type from G.B. Mignone, Italy. The camera dates back to the late nineteenth century and the early twentieth century and is of the Mackenstein or Pettazzi type. It is made of fine wood with brass parts. The bellows have been replaced due to age. The camera has a glass plate for focusing. The lens is original from the period with a Rapid Rectilinear Elliot London with built-in aperture, and there is also a lens from Zeiss Jena with apertures. These cameras did not have a shutter and the exposure took place with a cap that was removed and replaced in front of the lens.
