Med original emballage, aldrig vist Samling GastOn Lagaffe DUPUIS, Dargaud, Le Lombard Karakteren Gaston Lagaffe, antihelten par excellence, blev født i februar 1957 i avisen Spirou i en sort/hvid tegning. Før han blev tegneserie, fortsatte Gaston Lagaffe med at optræde i forskellige udgaver af Spirou, indtil 1960, hvor det blev besluttet at skabe en serie bøger. Gaston Lagaffes første album udkom i 1960 og tilhører den såkaldte "klassiske" samling. Gaston Lagaffe betragtes som en af de bedste tegneseriefigurer udgivet i Belgien.
