FRANCQ (J.) Fordømt, spil i tre akter. Bruxelles, 1900. 1 bind in-4 (28 x 22 cm), fuld langkornet rødt marokko med arme (moderne indbinding, signeret Josse Schavye), tavler prydet med nummeret på Henriette af Belgien, dobbelt indrammet med tredobbelte og dobbelte fileter, blomster med liljer i hjørnerne, glat ryg med dobbelt fileter og fleur-de-lis, indvendig blonde med dobbelt filet på snit, 76 helt håndskrevne sider. Gnid på hætten og halen og meget let i hjørnerne. God stand. Bind helt håndskrevet og dedikeret til "Hendes Kongelige Højhed Madame Hertuginden af Vendôme. Respektfuld hyldest." Henriette af Belgien giftede sig med Emmanuel d'Orléans, hertug af Vendôme i 1896. Hun holdt en berømt salon i Paris under Belle Époque. Josse Schavye, sidst af en stor familie af Bruxelles-bogbindere, er også forfatter til en History of bookbinding, der er unik, fordi den kun er illustreret med bøger, som han selv har indbundet. Brussels, 1900. 1 volume in-4 (28 x 22 cm), full long-grain red morocco with arms (modern binding, signed Josse Schavye), boards decorated with the number of Henriette of Belgium, double-framed with triple and double fillets, flowers with lilies in the corners, smooth spine with double fillets and fleur-de-lis, inside blonde with double fillet on cut, 76 entirely handwritten pages. Rubbing on the head and tail and very slightly on the corners. Good condition. Binding entirely hand-written and dedicated to 'Her Royal Highness Madame Duchess of Vendôme. Respectful tribute.' Henriette of Belgium married Emmanuel d'Orléans, Duke of Vendôme in 1896. She held a famous salon in Paris during the Belle Époque.
