East Ohio Building Cleveland Postcard

This vintage postcard features a stunning aerial view of the East Ohio Building in Cleveland, Ohio. The postcard is in excellent condition, with vibrant colors and clear details. The postcard also shows a glimpse of downtown Cleveland and a street-level view of the Gills Hotel (spelled 'Gillsby' on the placard seen on the side of the building, but historically known as 'Gills' or sometimes 'Gillsey' due to its location on Gillsey Avenue) at the corner of East 9th Street and Euclid Avenue. The building in the background at the top of the picture is 100 Public Square, originally home to the Illuminating Company, a major electric utility that merged with Centerior Energy, FirstEnergy and Illuminating Company in 1998 and is now known as FirstEnergy.
