At the end of World War II, a British officer leads a group of commandos behind enemy lines on a final, impossible mission. Their task is to rescue a scientist to stop the Nazis from developing the atomic bomb, while at the same time they have to evade the Nazi guerrilla soldiers who are determined to continue the war at all costs.
