Elma 1352 Sound Level Meter

The Elma 1352 Sound Level Meter is a professional instrument for measuring sound levels from 30 dB to 130 dB. This sound level meter has a range of features that make it suitable for a wide range of applications. Amongst its features is a serial interface, an analog output and a log with a capacity for 4048 measurements. The analog output enables the use of the device as a microphone. This makes it compatible for Fourier analysis, e.g. with a PCskop card. By using the device as a microphone, frequencies and the hearing limit can be recorded. This is an advantage in experiments with the speed of sound in air via an oscilloscope.
