This individually-numbered teapot, designed and signed by Paul Cardew,

is made by hand in our pottery in Devon, England. It is part of a

limited production of 5000 items only of this design, whose rarity is

then assured by destruction of the production moulds. We keep "Number 1"

of each design for our teapot museum; numbers 2 to 5000 are available

to connoisseur collectors. While this design is a functional teapot, we

recommend you use it for decorative purposes only. Wash by hand in

lukewarm water.

The W teapot logo, indicting is provenance at Woodmanton Farm, walate
