Romantisk maleri af den belgiske maler Theodore GERARD fra det 19. århundrede. Afbildning af en fløjtespiller (tysk eller østrigsk figur) Gérard var en genremaler, der rejste til Tyskland og Østrig fra 1865 og fandt inspiration der. Denne kunstners værk er på forskellige belgiske museer (Antwerpen, Bruxelles, Gent, Kortrijk ...) Værket er i god stand (2 gamle retoucheringer) og er for nylig blevet let renset. Romantic painting by the Belgian painter Theodore GERARD from the 19th century. The painting depicts a flute player (German or Austrian figure). Gérard was a genre painter who traveled to Germany and Austria from 1865 and found inspiration there. The artist's works are in various Belgian museums (Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Kortrijk ...). The work is in good condition (2 old retouches) and has recently been lightly cleaned. Remains of the signature "Gérard" at the bottom right (see photo). Original wood, gilded frame with an old nameplate in good condition (49 x 62 cm) Will be sent well packaged.
