Vintage Tavannes Clamshell wristwatch
Brand: Tavannes
Case: 28.5mm (without crown), 35mm lug-to-lug
Lug Width: 16mm
Movement: Unknown, Mechanical wind 15 or 17 jewel (most likely)
Condition: Case in very good condition. Movement runs when wound with stem, however the split-stem crown is missing.
Description: A very cool Tavannes in a waterproof clamshell case with screws that hold the case and case back together. The dial has aged with a nice and even cream patina. The hidden and extended lugs look very nice with any strap or bracelet. I was unable to remove the movement as I did not want to dislodge the spacer/washer inside the case. All that's missing is a crown and this watch is ready to rock ????
