Large demon mask from Bali, Indonesia

A large demon mask from Bali, Indonesia. Hand-carved from wood, polychrome with partially chipped colours. The mask's age and signs of wear indicate that it originates from around 1960. It is in reasonable condition with age cracks and minor loss of colour. The mask measures approx. 37 x 27 cm and weighs around 1 kg. It may have been used for rituals.
