Danish neolithic type Vb dagger with polished blade.

Made in white senonflint.

Type 5B

161 mm long.

Date: Daggertime approximately 1500 BC!

Provenance: Bought from a private collection in 2022

There are large areas on the blade which are still polished. The ancient man did this so the pressure flaking worked better to get thin flakes off the blade. It is a very rare piece because this is mostly seen only on type Ic daggers. You will not find another one like this!
